Edmodo

Resim
Edmodo is a platform like google classroom which is solely dedicated to enhance teacher-student experience. It is really easy to use even as a teacher. You just need a university based e-mail and you can create an account.     In the home screen you can assign your students new assignments and leave individual comments on each student's assignments. It is a really helpful tool, especially in online learning since it will give notifications to each student as you can see below. Do not worry though, I did complete those assignments.    You can even pop quiz and evaluate them through edmodo.    After clicking the classes tab you can view all the classes you have. Which is a really easy way to individually follow them. And that's all you really need to know about edmodo. It's a simple to use tool.

This way the student doing the presentation feels the acknowledgement of their classmates.    The third one is cognitive presence. It is similar to the second one in the sense that it i...

The Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning

Resim
This cognitive theory claims that presenting information by using only one component (most of the time verbal) is much less effective than doing so with both verbal and visual components. So it suggest that teachers should supplement their teachings by both verbal and visual components. By doing so the verbal information the learners receive is able to interact with the visual information in their working memory and add onto to the knowledge they had prior. This information is made much easier to remember by the graph below, just like how the theory suggests.
